Glass to Power is an Italian clean-tech company specialising in building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) and advanced photovoltaic glass solutions for sustainable architecture. Its flagship product, Heli-On, is an insulating photovoltaic glazing system that combines the functions of high-performance building glass with on-site renewable energy generation, enabling façades, roofs, and skylights to become active energy-producing elements. By integrating solar technology directly into building envelopes while preserving aesthetics and thermal performance, the company contributes to the development of nearly zero-energy and positive-energy buildings. 

A number of external companies contributed to the renovation of the residential building in the Povo district of Trento. Among them was GLASS2POWER, which installed its innovative Heli-On building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) system on one of the building’s glazed façades.
