NextGeneration EU funding programme
NextGenerationEU is a temporary recovery instrument to support Europe’s economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic and build a greener, more digital and more resilient future.
The complementary activities funded as part of the ARV demo project inlcuded the energy retrofitting of private and public owned residential buildings, as well as development of new social housing.
NextGenerationEU funds partially financed a large part of the public housing projects promoted by IBAVI in recent years. These projects have included high sustainability, efficiency and circularity parameters. In the case of the 35 dwellings in Fornaris Street, the amount funded is 1.153.845 € for the construction of the building.
Between 40% and 100% of the total retrofitting cost on private owned buildings, with a minimum of 18.800 € per dwelling. Between 40 and 80% of the total retrofitting cost on public owned buildings, with a minimum of 21.400 € per dwelling.
