R&D Aid for enterprises

This provincial aid was regulated by the so-called “Legge provinciale 6/1999” and later by “Legge provinciale 6/2023”. It supports  through co-funding industrial research and experimental development activities which aim to create new products, processes, or services, or to produce substantial improvement of existing products, processes, or services. It addresses both SMEs, large companies and research centres led by enterprises.

The  scheme allowed the technological development of the “Renew Wall” retrofit kit between 2019 and 2021, by co-funding research, technical assistance, lab tests and prototyping activities. It was basically instrumental to the first large-scale installation of the kit in the Trento demo in 2023.
