On 21-22 May 2024, CINEA organised in Brussels a Cross-programme clustering meeting for EU-funded projects from the building sector, addressing three key areas of action: deep renovation, smart buildings and services, and buildings rating instruments.
ARV and 45 other projects from three EU programmes (H2020, LIFE Clean Energy Transition, and Horizon Europe) were represented, and 70 participants (projects’ and EC representatives) attended on-site.
While the event had a strong policy focus (with the involvement of EC DG ENER, and specifically in relation to the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive and the Energy Efficiency Directive), the cross-programme dimension allowed to build synergies between EU-funded actions of different nature (research & innovation, market uptake, policy support, etc.)
