The Karviná elementary school was founded in 1965 after a significant increase in the population of Karviná. It covers part of a large housing estate in Karviná 4. The project involved attending educational seminars and selected pupils working on assignments. In 2023 it was about preparing a proposal to install PV on the roofs of selected city buildings, in 2024 they are working on upcycling the discarded light from the demo building, giving it a new use in the spirit of circular economy. In 2023, their solution was announced as the best and won first place.
