Last September 26th, the Casal de Barri de Nou Llevant hosted a conference organised by the Palma City Council and the company Tramiteco in order to present to the neighbourhoods the ARV project and the opportunity of energy retrofitting through the Next Generation Fund. These funds can cover up to 80% of the cost of renovating homes.
The aim was to inform citizens of the steps they need to take to access this funding. To this end, the Palma City Council has promoted the ‘Retrofitting guidance service’ as the Private Public Partnership (PPP) ARV innovation, through which architects and engineers from the company Tramiteco clear up any doubts or questions about energy retrofitting to neighbours. The initiative was launched this summer, and explanatory meetings have already been held with several communities.
