Post-Occupancy Evaluations (POEs) offer valuable insight into occupant satisfaction by combining real-time indoor environmental monitoring with user feedback. Over 15 days in both summer and winter, sensors track temperature, humidity, and CO₂ levels in homes, while nearby weather stations provide external data. Occupants complete surveys assessing their perception of air quality, thermal, visual, and acoustic comfort. The results are then analysed to compare measured data with occupant experience, providing a clear picture of indoor environmental quality (IEQ). This approach not only validates the comfort performance of buildings—showing mostly high to medium comfort levels per European standards—but also empowers residents with personalised feedback and supports future improvements in sustainable, user-centered building design.

Social Renovation is a tenant-centred methodology aimed at improving quality of life and strengthening social resilience within social housing communities. The approach combines housing renovation processes with social support measures by addressing a broad range of social, economic, and well-being related challenges experienced by tenants. 

The approach recognises that renovation processes can significantly affect residents and that technical building improvements alone are not sufficient to achieve inclusive and sustainable neighbourhood transformation. Social Renovation therefore integrates social engagement and support activities alongside physical renovation works.
